The great actress Patricia Neal died this past week on Martha's Vineyard. She won an Oscar for best actress for her role opposite Paul Newman in Hud. She was a woman of faith and generosity and great courage battling back form strokes and three weeks in a coma over 40 years ago. She worked with the USCCB and Family Theater on the 2001 documentary The Face: Jesus in Art. We are praying for her this week and will remember her at Mass on Tuesday at Family Theater. May God bless Patricia Neal and welcome her into the fulness of eternal life soon.
